Advanced Botox Training Policy At MASA – Montréal AestheticS Academy, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of medical aesthetics education. The "Botox: Beyond the Basics" course is an advanced-level training designed specifically for licensed healthcare professionals who are looking to deepen their expertise in neuromodulator applications. This policy outlines the eligibility requirements, certification guidelines, and expectations for participants in this course. To enroll in this advanced program, participants must hold a valid medical, dental, or nursing license and provide proof of completion of a foundational Botox training program. This ensures all attendees have the necessary baseline knowledge of facial anatomy, patient assessment, and fundamental injection techniques prior to engaging with more complex procedures. This course focuses on advanced Botox applications, including treatment of platysmal bands and the Nefertiti lift for neck rejuvenation, masseter muscle injections for jawline contouring and bruxism relief, and hyperhidrosis management for excessive sweating in areas such as the axillae, palms, and soles. Due to the therapeutic and functional nature of these techniques, it is critical that attendees understand the relevant anatomy, dilution protocols, and complication management strategies. MASA’s curriculum is designed in accordance with the professional guidelines set by the Ordre des dentistes du Québec (ODQ) and the Fédération interprofessionnelle de la santé du Québec (FIQ).
